What's a bard to do?

As important as the style is the instrument. A lute is better than a guitar. Bagpipes or harp would be good, too. Mandolin. Hurdy gurdy. Recorder. Wooden flute.

What instrument would you be playing?

Play Cradle of Filth: Funeral in Carpathia.

My Character will not dislike you.

Gogol Bordello is a lot of fun...so are the Brobdingian Bards, Flogging Molly and Runrig's "Stamping Ground".

That's Brobdingnagian Bards. You missed and entire syllable!

Although I probably won't run into you, I do love "The fox went out on a chilly night". It's more of a folksy song, not so martial or angry, but it's upbeat and very spirited and a lot of fun to sing. One can also dance to it, and pick up the words quickly. Here is a link to the song and lyrics

Whatever you do, don't sing Bring Me to Life by Evanescence. I'm pretty sure it's about necromancy.

Let's call the whole thing off!
