Yes, plate is awesome.
Just because you put a guy with a sword in it doesn't mean he's awesome too.
There is one (1) paladin I have respect for... true respect. That would be Ryan.
All others are just pale imitations of "The Notorious PLD".
The resons are varied, but the most important one is that he is such a paladin, he stopped me from transferring guild control from nell to arsonsind during drunken core at the nexus while everyone was trashed (and jeff was in the other room getting more booze.)
So, give it up for The Notorious PLD.

Hunters pose a threat, but only if the paladin isnt paying attention. They can drain mana and kite fairly well so the paladin needs to keep on top of his cleansing and blessing of freedom...
Of course, this is the same for all classes versus all classes... Good players that know what to do stand a far superior chance to those who just PVE'd their whole lives and never learned the dynamic of both sides of the game.
