That's not what I meant exactly. Your thinking I literally meant real chain. I just want something that LOOKs like a chain shirt. In no way does it have to be chain. I was wondering if there was some kind of cheap, easy and fast way to make something that resembles chainmail.

I'm having trouble figuring out how to do some of the clothing accesories I wanted, like a bandoleer for daggers and other things. I'm also not sure how to make a cheap chain mail shirt looking vest either. I don't know if I'll really have this made before Halloween or not.

I know there were advice on body paints as well? So what would be a good one to use that wont just rub right off but that isn't going to take all day to wash off?

I was thinking of cutting down the water noodle anyway. I was only thinking of it because they are cheap. The gf suggested the pipe insulin stuff you find at hardware stores. I may try that. Just wondering how to also do the chain shirt under his vest and the crossbow?

Anyways, I found some Galvanized wire I'm gonna use to make the tail poseable, as suggested by Mark. Just need to find something to use for the padding. I was going to try using a water noodle and cutting that down but I can't find any.

I appologized too in an attempt to stop them as well but who knows if that will help. *shrug* I just wanted help from people I consider pros at making decent costumes. I went out and looked around at some of the costume stores nearby for parts I could use but found nothing I liked.

So if I wanted ears I should probably use the prosthetic ones and not the cheap costume store "spock" ears that just fit over? Those always fall off anyway.

I was going to ask about painting things myself. Is it hard or easy to paint prosthetics?

In a way but no dice are used. That's probably how I would do it. The cards would simulate the 10 sided dice used in World of Darkness table-top or in Unisystem, which is the other system I'm considering.
