got back from the first event at muddale.. i mean fairdale.. these boots rock my socks... in a good way. i tromped through tons of mud and stood in water and my feet were dry and comfy all weekend. yay!!!
 
you should post a pic of the boots now that they have seen their first bit of action...

Are those the Sir Henry boots? Because I'm totally interested in getting a pair of those now. I desperately need my tax return for larping gear!
 
you are so brave...if my boots get the slightest bit of smudge on them i start looking for a cloth to buff them...hence the tavern keeper bit instead of warrior extraordinaire...but those boots do look sweet!
 
They are the Robin Knee Boots... They might just look big cause theya re size 15. BTW, I washed them right after that picture... in the shower.... and the insides are still dry as a bone. I think I am in love.

Serious question here.

Is the size 15 what you ordered or what you wear?

I'm thinking about getting a pair in a couple months (I expect some feedback if yours crap out in the next month or three) and I notice that they talk a good bit on the site about the sizing and ordering a half to a full size larger.

Did you do that? Did it work?

hEHEHEHEH i do get my feet stepped on alot and i have big feet...but i'm usually careful with them...overly so...they're like skis! my dad used to tease me growing up when we'd go shoe shopping for me and he'd say ...just wax the bottoms and head down the mountain...heheheh

I wear size 14. i ordered 15 because the website says order a size higher. I wore hunting socks (the big wooly kind_ and a regular pair of sucks, and they fit fine all weekend. it was the first time in 10 years of larping my feel have felt comfortable, with my ankle supported, and my boots in period.
