Skyrim, anyone?

I'm actually disappointed with the Dark Brotherhood this time around, they were WAY funnier in Oblivion.

Wait, is there no taxidermy murder in this one? I haven't tried the Brotherhood quests yet...

I just miss the Orc guy's war stories and utter lack of care for stealth.

And they won't let me marry the Night Mother. Sheesh.

You DID get to play 7 minutes in heaven with her though, that's worth something anyhow.

Eric you can get caught in the opening thieves guild quest and they still let you in. just stand up when you lockpick the case. you pay a fine but still get in

I found that you can meet the person you need to meet without joining the thieves at all. Just ask around the town for information.

I'm playing a High Elf Fire Mage named Kaziel. He's the Archmage of Winterhold and prefers things to be on fire. He currently just completed the Hangover quest that necessitated a change of underwear.

The Hangover quest was indeed awesome and unexpected.

For some reason, I became Archmage too even though I have bought no perks in the spellcasting arena.

Without giving away any spoilers, is the "Hangover" quest specifically for mages? Where do you pick it up?

Thanks!

Hm. I was in a tavern and someone challenged me to a drinking contest. I accepted.

I am not sure if it has to be a specific tavern, and I can't recall which one I was in when this happened. I suggest talking to everyone when you enter a tavern and see what happens.

It has nothing to do with being a mage...

The hangover quest i believe starts in ivarksted neard high hrothgars pass. So effing epic. oh and got a daedra mace. Im continually accidently evil

The Hangover quest starts in a tavern. Which one? Depends on where the guy (Sam) is at the time. I declined the drinking contest in Riften and later accepted it in Windhelm. I then woke up with a splitting headache...

I ran into it in Whiterun, but refused it because I needed to assassinate the Emperor. Oops, I mean pick up some ninroot. I did not assassinate the emperor.

Hm, I just encountered "romance" in the game. It goes like this:

"I see that you are wearing an amulet that says you are single. Want to get married?"

"Sure."

Man! It's the stuff of legend.

That's how the goddess of love, Mara, rolls.

And then you get a spouse that poops out 100 gold every day and will cook some weird looking pie for you.

I admit, it's no blue alien side boob.

Im on a daedra worshipper killing spree. who has two thumbs and purges the unclean? This guy

I've avoided the main quest for so long I'm completing quests from my inventory at a rate of 1-2 an hour.

I did all the quests and finished the game as a "good guy" character, though they sure threw me into some not so good choices at times.

Now I'm doing all the side quests I misses as my pickpocketing, self serving Khajit...named Braq of course. I've barely touched the main quests in this one. I'll probably do very little if any of the main dragon quest. I'm going to do the Imperial quest though, as I did the Stormcloak last time.

Does anyone else get a feeling of accomplishment when they kill an NPC and get a "XYZ Quest Failed"? As long as it comes off my list, I'm okay with it.

I am now around level 40 and have just received the Elder Scroll. I have been holding off going any farther because I assume that's near the end, and there are so many places left to explore.

I've got a couple of glitches where I killed someone/something before the quest was assigned and then when I got the quest it won't acknowledge the death. In once case I'm supposed to kill a hagraven and it still says to kill her even when I went back to her body and stood over it. Oh well, given how huge this game is, stuff like that is bound to happen.
