Goodman Adon,
There will be a gathering of adventures in three weeks time. The ducal army is an excellent group of brave individuals. I have known many of their ranks who I admire and would fight and die beside. Though I cannot answer much about the rules and regulations of the Icenian Army, having never served. I am glad to see your willingness to fight! Generally when addressing a noble in our lands you first kneel until recognized. Barons are addressed as 'your excellency', the Duke as 'your grace', and knights as 'lord' or 'lady'. I hope this helps some.
Bowin,
I find your words of the Army and Nobles insulting. I am wondering where you met a Sergeant who tends crops during the week and then pretends at commander on the weekends. I know of no such man or woman here. Every army soldier I have met has been self-sacrificing, intelligent, and honorable. I also a bit shocked that you find the Nobles who follow the Code of Chivalry dull as stone elves, I believe you put it. First of all, because a stone elf does not show emotion does not make him dull or two dimensional. My time with Telokh and Ren have been incredibly enlightening and I would not trade it for anything. Secondly, the code of chivalry, while it may be "restricting", makes its followers people of high character, trustworthy, and brave. To say that they are dull without considering all the work they do, the fights they bleed and die in for all of us and those who cannot defend themselves, is a grave insult. Perhaps you should get to know the people and the lands you insult before you do so.
