G4 to be at April Event

Thanks Eric. I was worried you had never seen G4's "Wild Larp'ing Kingdom" segments and had visions of them showing up in African Safari outfits and speaking in cheesy Australian accents. <Steve Irwin> "Krikey! Here is an example of the rarely filmed Stone Elf LARPer! Now watch while I..."...

G4 to be at April Event

Um... I know we all want good press for our game and we all want to get it on TV and all... but G4 TV? Seriously? Do you people not remember G4's "Wild Larp'ing Kingdom" segments? Those segments ridiculed the players and portrayed LARPers in a tongue-in-cheek manner as weird and strange...

    Let it be known

I consider three years to be a very short time indeed Emilio. Given your lineage I would have expected a longer vision from you. I make it a point to extract such vows from suspected necromancers and I make it a point to remember such vows for as long as there is a question. Patience is a...

    Let it be known

Emilio, You once invited me to strike you down if I ever believed that you were a necromancer. You also promised on your honor that you would do nothing to stop me in such a circumstance. There is no longer any question in my mind. Will you retain your honor when next we meet or will you brake...

Animal folk, humans, high orcs, and high ogres

Zehnyu, Indeed those who know you best will read a deeper meaning into your words. My advice has nothing to do with your nature or actions but rather others' perception of the same. Those who know you best will read a deeper meaning into your words but those who have never met you will see your...

Animal folk, humans, high orcs, and high ogres

Zehnyu, A word of advice. There are some of your people I call a loyal friend; and there are others who have no control of their rage and go about threatening to eat people. Do well to remember thus and think of how you want others to see you. -Talon

    Jobs at King Richard's Faire

lol ... I guess the memory is the first thing to go Mike. I remember two conversations we have had both of which started with you saying "That's your sister in law? Cool! You know she has always advertised in the rulebook..." Maybe three times is the charm. -Devon

    Jobs at King Richard's Faire

My sister in law owns and runs ThreadsOfTime.com and every year has a booth at King Richard's Faire. This year she is having issues finding people to help work the faire and is look for help. She writes: Calling all cars, Calling all cars!!! There is a plague this year called ‘lack of help’...

    Player Wealth

I think that this poll is inherently flawed and this quote highlights why: I would expect any character that has only been played twice to be lucky to have more than 5 gold to their name... ... but there are some characters out there that have been played hundreds of times and as such often...

    Player Wealth

Tab, Have you ever bothered to calculate the value of your share of the Arkelian Hunt treasury? Wik is definitely in the 200+ category. If you ever decided to cash out you could roll around in big piles of coin. -Devon

    Kid's Event Report

So now that we have run a Kid's campaign event have we learned any lessons or gained any wisdom as to what the appropriate minimum age is? -Devon, father of a 9mo old and already planning.

    This is boring...

I hope that all that encounter this realize it for what it is: A pathetic attempt by a Necromancer to gather sympathy and forgiveness for her past crimes. Insanity is neither an excuse nor a defense for her crimes. -Talon

    Approved Weapons

These specifications are insufficient to meet the Alliance safety standards. Most notably "Foam thickness depth to core on all non-striking surfaces: 3/8 inches" ... We require 5/8'' thickness on all surfaces and "Foam thickness from core to end/tip: 1.5 inches". We require a minimum of 1 inch...

    Legerdemain

I really do not understand how you can make the skill needed. Ever since we changed the shatter rules Legerdemain is all but useless. Anything that needs to be picked can just be shattered, or at the very least destroyed if the lock is built into something door sized. The old "shatter cascade"...

    Polearm Core - carbon fiber?

########################## REPOST ############################ So I recently decided to experiment with carbon fiber kite spar cores with some very positive results thought I would share. I got interested the last time I ordered some standard .505 fiberglass kite spar and I noticed that my...

    Polearm Core - carbon fiber?

You are mistaken. Unless you paid a bunch of money and special ordered it you have likely only ever seen fiberglass cores... Fiberglass cores are way to whippy. Carbon fiber cores are very strong and very rigid... almost to the point of being unbelievable. -Devon
