Well I must admitt this was quit an event. As always my favorite moments are hard to choose, but here are some of the things that really stuck out to me.

Finally having evidence that letting krieger draw pictures on our house has consequences.

Getting to bargain with a pain elemental

Hiding out and talking to Yasmay while everyone and the mother was searching for us.

Having the Captin try and explain the negotiation of terms prior to battle, while slice stood there totally baffled at the idea of negotiating anything that benefited the other side. (I think it showed...hehe)

Fighting side by side with LE during the huge finfolk battle and attempting to slowly rub an ego off on her.

Getting to go into LE's head and end up fighting a lich with only Eli and Shikar at my side. We kicked it's ***, but it was a little to close of a battle for comforts sake.

Getting to sit down after the feast with some of my friends and just share the good times. It was a nice relaxing few minutes.

Going down into the water, alone, ressing and then being told "Ok, Leyk the that we're going to have this nice fey show us how to all breathe underwater and then we'll go down there and get pearl back" Seriously guys, timing. I soo hate you

Having Leyk's mind broken by a series of events
1. reverse metabolism
2. undead attack
3. weird identification problems knocking everyone out
4. hag attack
5. birthing 4 death elementals
6. finfolk attack

getting to cut Taran open and see what's inside
 
1) Backstabbing Shikar, letting the blade slide under his arm as I stab him, knowing it won't drop him, but seeing him go "What?" *touches tip of sword* "Oh." then stumble a bit from the 'pain' of the blow while yelling about the pain.

2) Playing Sliver at the evil trees, and talking with Raisa's Sarr: "Do you feel anything?" "The warmth.... draining from my body....." "What about from the metal statue?" "It is drawing the heat of my flesh from me, pulling it in, leaving my hands chilled." "What if you put on gloves?" "Yes, I am protected from it now, thank you."

3) Me and Nick as Hugo and Beetle, playing Taran at cards. "Okay, this is an 8, we have a five and a ten, you are in the middle, so we win." "Okay, now, I have a higher card than you do, so you lose."
 
Yes! playing hugo was so much fun! ha! I also enjoyed playing a good character for once. And nate as the um thing I cant spell tooling through the finfolk nearly sunday morning, Jeeze! And finally the fin folk tooling through the ducal guards on saturday....hehehhe....
 
1. Helping to create the Sea Goblin Battle Chant.
2. I run up to L.E. "30 Slay" Shikar roars, and chases me down the field for killing his sister. That was great.
3. Having Leyk come up to the hags (of which I was one) and say "Begin trap setup. Interrupt. 25 Fire to both of you." To which we replied "Taken" and proceded to chase.
4. I'm posting this for the spellcaster finfolk in the big battle "I command you to be dominated! Defend me" "I command you to be dominated! Defend me" "I command you to be dominated! Defend me" "I command you to be dominated! Defend me" "Darnit, out of spells!"
5. Watching the spellcaster accquire a sarr bodyguard squad.
 
Favorite quote:

::Note to self, get bigger strega blowing up traps::
 
hmm...paul snagged up a few of my faves already (spellcaster concerned)
But it will be a fair chunk of time before I forget most all my first event, especially stealing that roll from the feast and begging for food as a black kitty.
 
Some of these arent necissarily favorite, but moreso memorable moments:

- The return of Izlude, as well as a new joke to acompany it:
"What is the sound that Izlude makes when he hits a wall?"
*shrugs*
"FOPP!"
Seriously dude, we missed you.

- The glorious tale of Shikar vs. the Step.

- Being the messenger and being shot at for it.

- Going to the moon!

- Seeing Shikar going into a quasi-self induced Berserker rage after L.E. was attacked.

- Saddling up to do some loot splitting and being saved by a rift out.

- Izlude's futile attempts to try to get me to laugh after my transformation.

- Squirming in front of the tavern during my evaluation of the first war games scenario.

- Trying my darndest *not* to laugh at everything. Role playing without emotions is hard!

- People in the tavern trying to discern whether or not either or my hand was undead.

- New and improved costume! WOO!

And probably some other stuff that will come back to me throughout the oncoming weeks. It is by far one of the most memorable events. Thankyou everyone for a rocking event.
 
Watching Slice, Eli, and Shikar fighting lich LE... and wondering if I was going to have to pull any of them back to me for healing.

Getting escorted by Derek and Balryn... all I was thinking was "I'm going to die." Much to my surprise, I didn't.

Seeing people gearing up for what could have potentially been the biggest PvP situation EVER.

Sitting there in a mind link while chaos erupts outside the ward and trying my darndest to ignore it. Sorry Cassandra!

Getting cleared of Necromancy... like there was ever any doubt.

I've got more, but that'd be telling.

You know right as I layed down on my bed I thought to myself, hmm I shouldn't fall asleep yet, I should go and help with L.E. but what did I do? I fell asleep and what did it get me? Hearing Pearl's name being called and opening my eyes to not one or two or three but SIX finfolk standing at my bed. I freaked out and ran to the back of the cabin where everyone, Slice, Shikar, Eli, L.E, Diera, were all stuck in a mind lock and then getting kidnapped! Grrrrr...

Other than that

Pearl picked up a new fascination with tattoos!

Being at L.E and Shikars small party about finding out that they are brother and sister and being the only one there with a good story about Slice.

Running away from the shoreline as a whole bunch of finfolk came out of the water, then later running with Neume & Yasmay to gypsy camp and after falling on the floor in the back, Yasmay saying to Pearl :::giggle::: You look like a fish out of water. We need to put you in a tank.

There FINALLY being finfolk there, I swear if you would have waited another event to introduce this plot, PC's would have started to disbelieve Pearl that "The finfolk are coming"

I'm sure I've left off a whole bunch. This last event was really good and I cant wait to see where the true pearl plot goes.

~it didn't rain! (much)
~"war" with Derek
~the picnic
~discovering some disturbing things my character would be willing to do to save friends
~watching the card game between Taran and JP and Nick's NPC's
~using my gypsy curse! (ok, so it was to save Leyk from saying "praise the strega, but still!)
~casting a wizard lock! (i'm so low level..)
~lying to hags!
~learning how to creativly enhance the truth
~dressing Leyk up in my skirt and scarves to save him from the hags

i'm sure there's more, i always forget something, but there was a lot of good RP this event. was fun. and it was even warm sometimes!

That was an awesome game! There are a lot of moments that stand out in my mind! (I hope this list isn?t too long)

--L.E.?s new sword! Holy monkeys! I thought only NPCs are allowed to feel so powerful!

--fighting along side Slice. That felt REALLY cool. L.E. isn?t supposed to feel this confident. What?s going on?!

--Shikar freaking out and mowing down the sea-goblins every time L.E. fell. That was really COOL.

--relaxing before the storm and getting to hear the stories of ?Elryion, the Obsessive-Compulsive High Elf? and ?The Day Slice Knocked on Death?s Door?

--My first NERO all-nighter! It was non-stop action from the moment that the sun set on Saturday until the crack of dawn on Sunday. THANK YOU!!

--My battle with the bushes. Probably the most intense scene that I have ever role-played. (I even phys-reped a gash across my face!!) Anyway, this weekend was filled with really good role-playing, thank you everyone!

--hiding from the hags with Shikar and Eli behind the tavern, while the foul women shouted offers to the boys to let them bite the corns off their feet. That was some good NPCing.

--Fighting to the death against the people that L.E. cares about the most!! That was felt so incredible!! Even though I tried my hardest to tool you, I?m really glad you guys won.

--?12 drain!!? ?I grant you the Gift of Death!!? ?I call upon chaos to Cause Mortal Wounds!!? ?No effect!!? I?ve been shouting these things in my sleep!

--So many bad and/or crazy tings happened to a bunch of us, that none of us were surprised by anything on Saturday night--not even when we found out that there were death elementals popping out of Leyk?s stomach. And none of us even flinched when the barbarian burst into Eli's house decked out in full gypsy-drag (I think he even jingled). Any other night, I would have been rolling with laughter.

--Playing a fun game of Ward Tag for forty minutes and getting to dump out Eli's potions and squish his pet spider. *evil smile*

--Finding out OOG that Slice argued with the evil spirit to save L.E.?s womb from being destroyed. L.E. would be very thankful if she knew about that.

--L.E. watching her first, second, and third resurrection; all people from her house!

--living in the House of the Fallen Swan (a.k.a. The House of SCREWED). The people from the House who didn?t resurrect this game ended up getting kidnapped, receiving reversed metabolisms, or had to deal with L.E.?s destructive mood swings. Every last one of us got screwed individually. It was great.

--Nick Bond as the sea-hag. He looked so pretty in blue!! Anna, you MUST send me that picture! My email is: lost_capella@hotmail.com

--Leyk: "I'm going to go blow them up, Praise the Strega!"

--Trying to focus on the mind-link, when OOG, I can hear Pearl screaming as the Finfolk drag her away, while Lyek is presumably bleeding to death on the cabin floor.

--New NPCs. They all seemed to really be enjoying themselves. It?s so much more fun to get hit with a 30-slay by someone who is proud and smiling!

--Trying to save undead Taran, but getting assaulted by skeletons and then finding him as a pile of ash. So frustrating!!

--We had no huge, climatic battles, yet more people res-ed and died than any other game I?ve been too. I counted five PC resurrections and one permanent death: Taran, Taran again, Lyek, the two newbs, and Krill (Rest In Peace). Did I miss anyone? Ya know, this really raises the tension level in town.

--Elik was moving??? Bond, I hate you.

--tattoos!

--Walking away from the game and thinking: ?What the heck happened to my character?!? ^_^



And finally, one big THANK YOU for plot. You guys rock!!
 
That's the accurate death count Hayley... I have to write my reports here soon.

Being fin folk was so much fun.

--When being immune is bad:
Finfolk: "waylay!"
Lyek: "Ha! No effect!"
Finfolk: "Ok. Kill him."
*beating*

--Finding out OOG that Lyek barely avoided getting rezzed by us, then being told five minutes later that he was following us into the water, alone....

--Half an hour after finishing logistics in monster camp: "You did WHAT to Krill?"

--Playing a hag and getting convinced that Polare and Lyek were women

--Listening to a PC praise the Goblin King for twenty minutes
 
Dude....again timing.
"Ok, you guys suck I'm the only one that can save pearl, I'll go check it out"
*Thump, res*
"Hey Leyk, we're all going to go under the water now, this fey guy came and said he'd help us"
*Grumble*
