Indeed.

I have many brothers
I'll tell you of a few
And then I'll speak about myself
That is the final clue.
The first describes a Worker
Who toils all the day
The third describes a Mother
Who smiles as children play
The second is a Castle
With holes inside the wall
The fifth and six are much a like
They are a Trip and Fall
I am the fourth of six and I'm
The Mixed Up one
Even when I'm put in order
And with that my rhyme is done

-Eleghedhron

I am at a complete loss. I have been siting here working on it for hours. I feel that the mixed up one refers to the fact that he lists his brothers out of order (first third second fifth sixth fourth). If the speeker is not an object, then it must be a person, or a place. I cannot for thelife of me determin what tho.

Well, if Amaranthus is stumped...

The very point of a riddle is to use nonspecific language to distract from what you are describing.

What could be more appropriate than to riddle about language itself?

Amaranthus, have you been steering clear of liches these days?

I am nye a linguist, nor am I a spellcrafter or anyt'ing of dhe sort. Dhis riddle 'as 'aunted me for mont's now, would you be so kind as to give dhe answer? I am certain dhat it would make perfect sense aftervard!

Indeed, keeping quite clear. Been fighting gryphons and biata solders mostly. Undead shock troops as well.
Very good riddle.

Eleghedhron,

That riddle has had me confused for months. Thank you for finally sharing the answer, as I doubt it would have taken me several years before the answer finally came to me.

Stay safe and guard your family from harm,

Another one, then. This one is a little different.

A red rooster sits atop a house with a steeple roof. As the weather vain swings from north to south, it lays an egg pointing straight to the sky. Which way will the egg roll?

And for the Hollowers:

What has two legs for six feet, two hands for nine arms, one trunk for eight colors, one head for many faces?

The answer to the first is nowhere.

Roosters do not lay eggs.

As to the second, I am not a Hollower.

-Tieran

I completely agree with Tieran, even though the riddle is worded as such to make the correct answer wrong.

Vhat is a Hollower? Would dhis help answer dhe riddle?

I just peeked in on this again to see if anything new was up. As for the Hollowers... Do you mean those who come from or have been to Chiram's Hollow?

I shall attempt to recite a riddle i heard long ago by the Earth caller in my tribe....

What riases high, but can not fly
Follows the earth, but doesnt move
Can't be seen when its dark, yet is bright after it
Never sleeps, yet it awakes every morning?

I think i might have forgotten a verse or two but is easly solved

I have a head, I have a tail, but I have nye body. What be I?

What has many teeth, yet does nye eat?

What runs smoother dhan any rhyme, loves to fall, but can nye climb?

and one more for dhe day:

Who or what knows every language?

Good luck!

The first is a centipede... though it would need to be upside down...
