Riddles

Coal is right!

Hundreds of people have tried to write me,
Not one has been able to finish me to the end,
My story is different every time
but always begins and ends the same.

What am I?

An autobiography?

Good work Ezri! Yes, it's an autobiography.

I cannot be felt, seen or touched;
Yet I can be found in everybody;
I have no form nor shape;
Yet people try to put things on me.
What Am I?

Rituals can be put on spirits. Rituals are many different things....that is why I say my answer.

Never thought about a conscience. You are good at this Ezri! :)

Not all people possess a conscience.

When Angry I am zero,
When Leading I am one,
Charitable makes me five,
And Gleeful back to none.

Indeed.

I have many brothers
I'll tell you of a few
And then I'll speak about myself
That is the final clue.
The first describes a Worker
Who toils all the day
The third describes a Mother
Who smiles as children play
The second is a Castle
With holes inside the wall
The fifth and six are much a like
They are a Trip and Fall
I am the fourth of six and I'm
The Mixed Up one
Even when I'm put in order
And with that my rhyme is done

I must admit I am still at a loss for this riddle. I was attempting to make it apply to pieces on a chess board but couldn't get the relationships right. I had thought the Castle a Rook, the Mother a Queen, and the Worker a Pawn, but that is as far as it could go.

Perhaps a clue to point us in the right direction?

He is a Knight, the mixed up one, who moves like no other and is worth the same as a bishop.

But that is if it based on a chess set.

Bart

There are TWO knights on a side in chess. He is the mixed up ONE. He can't be unique if he has a twin.

The riddle is written in the first person. If he is a chess knight then there are two that are mixed up, not one.

Telokh

The speaker and his brothers are not objects of any kind.

Upon further reflection, I've crafted another similar riddle which should be much simpler.

My younger brother deals in Names
Put forth for doing well
Caught by me and you'll be Tamed
By seventh circle spell

Best of luck.
